At Reco, we know that people are at the heart of everything we do—from the farmers who grow our ingredients to the families who rely on our products. We are deeply invested in empowering communities through meaningful opportunities that uplift, educate, and create lasting change.
Empowering Women & Youth in Agriculture
Women and young people are the backbone of Uganda’s agricultural sector, yet many face challenges like limited resources, low productivity, and financial exclusion. We’re changing that by ensuring women and youth are not just included—but prioritized.
Supporting Women in Farming – We provide women farmers with access to land, training, and financial support to help them scale their businesses.
Youth in Agribusiness – Through mentorship and funding, we equip young entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed in agriculture.
Skills & Training – We offer hands-on training in modern farming, financial literacy, and agribusiness management to create independent, thriving farmers.
Land & Inputs Program: Giving Farmers the Tools to Succeed
Farming is more than just a livelihood—it’s a way of life. Through our Land & Inputs Program, we give farmers the resources they need to grow more, earn more, and build a stronger agricultural sector.
Access to Land – We provide land to smallholder farmers, helping them expand production.
Quality Inputs & Training – From improved seeds to sustainable techniques, we equip farmers with what they need to increase yields while protecting the environment.
Economic Growth – By strengthening small-scale farmers, we create a more resilient, self-sufficient agricultural community.
The Reco Scholarship Fund: Investing in Future Leaders
Education has the power to change lives. That’s why, for over 30 years, our scholarship fund has supported students from low-income families, covering tuition, school fees, and related expenses.
